The BETATHERM BetaCurve-1 NTC Thermistor is a high-precision 2-pin component designed for accurate temperature sensing and control. Encapsulated in a thermally conductive Stycast epoxy resin coating, this thermistor ensures rapid time response and proven stability. The thermistor chip is securely soldered to 32AWG alloy 180 leads, which are specifically designed to reduce thermal conductivity, minimising the 'stem effect' for more reliable readings.
Offering interchangeability and tight tolerance, this radial leaded thermistor is suitable for demanding applications, including temperature compensation and assembly into probes. It features a resistance of 100kohm at 25°C with a tight tolerance of ± 0.5%, and a B-constant of 4143K. The device operates effectively within a broad temperature range of -40 to 125°C, with a specified operating temperature of 0 to 70°C, and provides a dissipation constant of 0.75mW/°C in still air.
Designed for through-hole mounting, this thermistor boasts compact dimensions of 43 mm in height, 33 mm in width, and 15 mm in depth.
