Block Safety Isolating Transformer 1.5VA 2 x 6V

The Block Safety Isolating Transformer 1.5VA 2 x 6V is a 1.5VA transformer with a 2 x 6V secondary output, designed for safe electrical isolation between input and output circuits.

Overview

As a safety isolating transformer, it separates the input and output sides and supports the creation of SELV (Separated Extra-Low Voltage) and PELV (Protected Extra-Low Voltage) circuits. Its limited output voltage provides enhanced protection for both equipment and users in sensitive environments. The transformer is engineered to operate reliably in high ambient temperatures.

Key Features

• Inherently short-circuit proof construction for added safety and reliability
• Dual output voltage configuration for flexible series or parallel connections
• Dual input voltage capability for integration into various power systems
• XtraDenseFill resin encapsulation providing permanent corrosion protection, a high insulation value and maximum electrical reliability
• Self-extinguishing potting and hood material helping the unit meet stringent safety standards
• Through-hole mounting for secure and straightforward PCB installation
• Compact dimensions with a high output, suited to space-constrained installations
