It combines a GaAsP light-emitting diode with an integrated high-gain photodetector for reliable signal transmission.
Featuring an enable input that allows the detector to be strobed, the output of the detector IC is an open-collector Schottky-clamped transistor. This unique design ensures robust performance with a typical high speed of 10MBd and a low input current capability of just 5mA. The device guarantees trouble-free system performance across its operational parameters, with specifications certified from -40°C to 85°C.
