The Broadcom HCPL-2601-000E is a high-performance, optically coupled Logic Gate Optocoupler designed for demanding electronic applications. It combines a GaAsP LED with an integrated high-gain photodetector, featuring an enable input that allows the detector to be strobed for precise control. The detector’s output is an open-collector Schottky-clamped transistor, offering reliable signal transmission and robust interfacing capabilities.
A key advantage is its exceptional noise immunity, achieved through an internal shield that provides a guaranteed common mode transient immunity of 5000V/ms. This makes it ideally suited for operation in extremely high ground or induced noise environments where conventional components would fail. It is fully compatible with LSTTL/TTL logic levels and guarantees both AC and DC performance across a broad temperature range from -40°C to 85°C.
