It contains an AlGaAs LED that is optically coupled to an integrated circuit with a power output stage. The high operating voltage range of the output stage provides the necessary drive voltages for gate-controlled devices. It eliminates the need for negative gate drive and includes undervoltage lock-out protection (UVLO) with hysteresis for enhanced reliability.
