The integrated suppression diode protects against inductive load spikes, making it reliable for switching applications.
The inputs are TTL, CMOS, PMOS, and DTL compatible, ensuring easy integration with various logic families. The output can be paralleled to achieve higher current capability, and the input pins are placed opposite the output pins to simplify PCB layout. This component is housed in a DIP16 through-hole package, making it suitable for breadboarding and prototyping.
