DC-DC Adjustable Step Down Regulator Module, 6V to 36V, 5A, TO-263-7

The 171050601 is a MagI³C Variable Step-down Regulator Module (VDRM) designed for fast transient response. The VDRM series of the MagI³C power module family provides a fully integrated DC-to-DC power supply including the buck switching regulator and inductor. It operates from a 6V input voltage up to 36V and delivers up to 5A of output current with a peak efficiency of up to 92%.

This module includes an on-board protection circuitry to guard against thermal overstress and electrical damage, featuring thermal shutdown, overcurrent, short-circuit, overvoltage and undervoltage protection. The integrated shielded inductor solution ensures quick time to market and ease of use. A single exposed pad provides best-in-class thermal performance, while low output voltage ripple (less than 10mVPP) ensures stable power delivery.

Key features include undervoltage lockout protection (UVLO), programmable soft-start and voltage tracking, frequency synchronization input, and protection against inrush current and output short circuits. With a maximum output power of 30W, this module is suitable for a wide range of applications.
