The DIODES INC. PAM2306AYPKE is a dual, high-efficiency PWM step-down DC-DC converter designed for modern, battery-powered portable electronics. It delivers excellent stability and transient response under heavy loads thanks to its constant frequency PWM control. To maximise battery life, the converter intelligently switches to a power-saving Pulse Skipping Modulation (PSM) mode during light load operation, significantly reducing quiescent current.
A key feature is its integrated under-voltage lockout, which helps prevent deep battery discharge and protects the system. During shutdown, the input is completely disconnected from the output, with an extremely low shutdown current. The device incorporates an internal synchronous rectifier and soft-start functionality for robust and reliable operation.
