Dormer A002 HSS-TiN Coated Jobber Drill Bit, 5.50mm
High-quality Dormer HSS-TiN coated jobber drill bit (5.50mm) for precision metalworking and engineering tasks.
- The Dormer A002 HSS-TiN Coated Jobber Drill Bit* is crafted for precision drilling in a variety of applications. This bit is part of Dormer’s high-performance range, designed with a pointed web and fluted tip design for superior efficiency and accuracy. The unique point design reduces axial force and ensures precise centring, while the robust web construction enhances strength and rigidity, improving feed during operation.
The optimised helix angle increases stiffness across the diameter range, making it suitable for demanding drilling tasks. The bright body enhances cutting performance on ductile materials, and the Titanium Nitride (TiN) coating provides excellent resistance to flank and crater wear. Additionally, the low-friction coating allows for increased cutting speeds, extending the tool's life and performance.
Each drill bit features visible tool in-situ markings for quick and easy identification, reducing downtime during use. The flutes are engineered for efficient chip formation and evacuation, ensuring clean and smooth drilling operations.
Ideal for professionals and hobbyists alike, this drill bit is perfect for metalworking, engineering applications, and general workshop use. Its high-quality construction and advanced coating make it a reliable choice for consistent performance.
