The DUCATI 4.16.26 Series Motor Run Capacitor is a snap-in electric motor capacitor engineered for reliable start and run applications. With a capacitance of 12 µF and a voltage rating of 450 V AC, this component is designed for use in motor drive control systems and other power electronics applications. The capacitor utilises a metallized polypropylene film dielectric, featuring an extremely thin metal coating applied via vacuum evaporation, which ensures stable performance and minimal losses.

The capacitor is housed in a metallic case with a self-extinguishing plastic cover, and the case is sealed by an edging method that provides an air-tight closure, protecting the internal elements from moisture and contamination. An insulating container between the capacitive element and the metal case, combined with resin blocking, ensures excellent electrical safety (including earthing insulation) and high resistance to vibrations, making it suitable for demanding environments.

Equipped with a safety device in compliance with EN 60252-1 Standards, this capacitor offers safety protection class P2 against fire danger, providing peace of mind for both industrial and commercial installations. The capacitor features quick connect terminals (double tag, 6.3mm) for easy and secure wiring, and is available with a stud mount (M8) for flexible mounting options. It operates at frequencies of 50/60 Hz and has an IP00 protection rating. With a wide operating temperature range from -25°C to 70°C, this capacitor is built to deliver consistent performance in a variety of conditions.
