The DUCATI 4.16.10 Series Motor Run Film Capacitor is a high-performance component designed for robust and reliable operation in industrial applications. It features a metallised polypropylene (PP) dielectric film, where the electrodes are formed by an extremely thin metal coating applied through vacuum evaporation. This advanced construction delivers a capacitor with exceptionally low losses and a non-inductive winding, making it highly efficient for motor run circuits.
A key safety feature is its self-healing property. In the event of a minor dielectric breakdown, the metallised film around the fault vaporises, isolating the weak spot and preventing a short circuit.
