EIKON HCS20 Clip-On Cardioid Condenser Microphone

The EIKON HCS20 is a professional clip-on condenser microphone designed specifically for wind instruments. Its secure clip attaches to the bell of a trumpet, saxophone, trombone, tuba, or other brass and woodwind instruments, delivering natural, clear, and powerful sound during live performances.

The microphone features a cardioid polar pattern (unidirectional) that ensures excellent rejection of off-axis sound, making it ideal for high SPL stage environments. With a wide frequency response of 50Hz to 16kHz and a high maximum SPL of 130dB, it captures the full dynamic range of your instrument without distortion. The miniature permanently polarised capsule (8mm) provides consistent and accurate sound reproduction.

Powering and Connectivity

The HCS20 can be powered directly via the supplied 2m lead with an in-line preamplifier (phantom +48V) or connected directly to a bodypack transmitter with a MiniXLR 4-pin plug. The package includes a phantom adaptor, a built-in windscreen, and an additional external windscreen for versatile use in various performance conditions.
