ForgeFix Dog Tooth Washer ZP, 50 x 12mm, Pack of 100
Zinc-plated dog tooth washers, 50x12mm, pack of 100 for secure timber connections, ideal for joists and decking.
The ForgeFix Dog Tooth Washers ZP provide a secure timber-to-timber connection, particularly when used with carriage bolts. The teeth on these washers bite into the wood, ensuring a tight, no-movement fastening that is ideal for structural applications where stability is crucial.
These washers feature a zinc-plated finish, significantly enhancing their corrosion resistance. Zinc plating acts as a protective barrier, preventing oxidation of the metal beneath. Additionally, zinc acts as a sacrificial anode if the coating is damaged, further protecting the washer from rust and degradation. This makes them durable for outdoor and exposed applications.
