The FTDI MM232R USB to UART Module Development Kit is a compact USB to serial UART development module built around the FT232RQ integrated circuit. Its small footprint makes it suitable for new development projects or for adding USB connectivity to existing designs.

Overview

Powered directly from the USB port, the module supports RTS/CTS hardware handshaking and enables high-speed serial data communication at TTL levels, with transfer rates of up to 3 MBaud. Several configurable CBUS pins from the FT232R are brought out, allowing the MM232R to generate clock signals for external logic.
