Honeywell HIH-4000 Series Humidity Sensor SIP 3 Pin

The Honeywell HIH-4000 Series Humidity Sensor is a precision relative humidity sensor designed for high-volume OEM applications. Its near-linear voltage output allows for direct connection to a controller or other devices, simplifying integration and reducing design complexity. With a typical current draw of only 200µA, this sensor is particularly suited for low-power, battery-operated systems.

The sensing element is a laser-trimmed, thermoset polymer capacitive sensor with on-chip signal conditioning. Its multilayer construction provides excellent resistance to common hazards such as wetting, dust, dirt, oils, and environmental chemicals, ensuring reliable performance in demanding conditions. Tight sensor interchangeability helps reduce or eliminate OEM production calibration costs, making it a cost-effective solution.
