HONEYWELL unipolar digital hall effect sensor in a 3-pin TO-92 package. Operates from 3.8V to 30V with open collector sink output for versatile use.
The HONEYWELL Unipolar Digital Hall Effect Sensor is a small, versatile device operated by the magnetic field from a permanent magnet or an electromagnet. Designed to respond to alternating north and south poles, or to a south pole only, this sensor is built for reliable performance in demanding environments.
Featuring band gap regulation, it provides stable operation over a broad supply voltage range of 3.8 VDC to 30 VDC. The 3.8 V capability makes it highly suitable for various low voltage applications. This sensor is capable of a continuous 20 mA sinking output, which may be cycled up to a maximum of 50 mA. The digital, open collector sinking type output ensures easy interfacing with a wide variety of common electronic circuits.
