Overview

The ISP844X integrates two infrared light emitting diodes (IREDs) connected in inverse parallel and NPN silicon phototransistors in each channel. This configuration provides excellent noise immunity and helps protect sensitive components from voltage spikes, ground loops, and other electrical disturbances.
