KAUDAIR Data Cabinet Extractor Fan 120mm with Filter & Switched Lead 2m

The KAUDAIR Data Cabinet Extractor Fan has been specifically developed to cater for all data cabinets which have an aperture to accept an industry standard 120mm fan. This comprehensive kit comes with a black plastic filter pre-attached to the bottom of the fan, preventing dust from inside the cabinet entering the fan mechanism. Installation is straightforward: simply attach the silicone gasket and install the fan to the cabinet using the provided 4mm fixing screws. With threaded M4 slots, no nuts are required.

Operating at the low end of the noise spectrum, the fan has been tested at just 25/26dB(A). A rubber silicone gasket is included, which sits between the fan and the metal cabinet mounting area to help lower the noise floor even further. With a power consumption of around 8W and an air delivery of 49/50CFM, this fan is economical to run, even if left on 24/7.

Safety is a key feature of this design. The fans are impedance protected and fused at 1A, ensuring compliance with all current UK/EU safety standards. If the fan is locked by an external force while the electricity is on, the power to the motor will turn off to prevent an increase in coil temperature. The fan will automatically restart once the locked rotor condition is released. Additionally, the mains wires are prepared, sheathed, and secured so the product can be handled with complete safety.

For added convenience, the 2m lead features a UK mains plug with a built-in switch. This allows you to easily turn the fan off at the PDU without fumbling around inside the top of the cabinet. The unit is UKCA and CE marked, and TUV approved.
