KEMO ELECTRONIC 16A Dual Solar Charge Controller
Efficient dual-battery solar charge controller by KEMO ELECTRONIC, 16A capacity for optimal battery protection.
The KEMO ELECTRONIC 16A Dual Solar Charge Controller is a high-efficiency charging regulator designed to manage the power flow between solar panels and batteries. It prevents battery overload by intelligently distributing the charging current to one or two connected batteries. When two batteries are connected, the controller ensures balanced charging by prioritising the battery with the lower voltage, thereby maximising charging efficiency.
Key Features
- Input Voltage Range: 15-30V DC (open circuit voltage), making it compatible with most 12V solar panel setups.
- Dual Battery Charging: Supports two batteries with separate charging channels (8A per battery).
- Protection: Automatic switch-off at 14.2V (±5%) and switch-on at <12.9V (±5%), preventing overcharging and deep discharge.
- Compact Design: Measures just 87x60x33mm, allowing for easy installation in tight spaces.
Applications
This solar charge controller is ideal for off-grid solar systems, RVs, boats, and other applications where reliable battery charging is essential. Its dual-battery support ensures efficient power management for backup systems or auxiliary power setups.
