The Martindale Electric Socket Tester & Supply Polarity Checker is an essential diagnostic tool designed to detect 28 socket wiring fault conditions and check mains voltage levels. Crucially, it safely detects Line-Neutral reversal, also known as cross polarity, at the incoming supply.
This polarity swap test identifies a serious fault condition that standard socket testers cannot detect on PME/TN-C-S systems, which are the most common type of supply. The test is easily activated using the touch pad on the device. When correct polarity is confirmed, three flashing green LEDs provide a clear visual indication. If a fault condition is present, three red LEDs illuminate alongside a warning buzzer for immediate alert.
Featuring N, E, and L labelled LEDs, this socket tester quickly identifies the source of common faults, saving time during diagnostics. It also offers high and low voltage indications for comprehensive testing.
