The MICROCHIP Non-Inverting Low-Side MOSFET Driver is a high-speed device capable of providing 500mA of peak output current. Designed to be directly controlled from either TTL or CMOS inputs ranging from 3V to 18V, this single-channel driver ensures reliable performance for demanding switching applications.
It boasts low shoot-through current and matched rise and fall times, alongside short propagation delays of just 35ns (typical). The driver can easily charge and discharge 470pF gate capacitance in under 19ns. It offers low output impedances of less than 12Ω in both the On and Off states, ensuring that the MOSFET's intended state remains unaffected even by large transients.
Built for robustness, this driver is highly latch-up resistant and can withstand up to 500mA of reverse current. The logic input can tolerate up to 5V negative swings, and it features built-in ESD protection. Additionally, it maintains low supply current consumption, drawing 850µA (typical) with a 3V logic input and 100µA (typical) with a 0V logic input.
