The MICROCHIP Single 9A MOSFET Driver is a high-current, rugged, and efficient buffer/driver designed for driving large MOSFETs and Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistors (IGBTs). It is perfectly suited for local power on/off switching and LF initiation. This device features matched output rise and fall times, alongside matched leading and falling-edge propagation delay times, ensuring precise and reliable switching performance.
Engineered for robustness, the driver possesses very low cross-conduction current, which significantly reduces overall power dissipation. It is essentially immune to latch-up under any conditions within its power and voltage ratings and withstands up to 5V of ground bounce on its ground terminals. The input can withstand negative swings up to 5V, providing excellent noise immunity.
