N Channel Power MOSFET, 500 V, 7.2 A, 0.85 ohm, TO-220FP

This N-channel Zener-protected Power MOSFET is developed using STMicroelectronics' SuperMESH™ technology, which is achieved through the optimisation of the well-established strip-based PowerMESH™ layout. In addition to pushing on-resistance significantly down, special care has been taken to ensure excellent dv/dt capability for the most demanding applications.

Featuring improved gate charge and lower power dissipation, this MOSFET is designed to meet today's challenging efficiency requirements. It boasts extremely high dv/dt capability and has been 100% avalanche tested. Key attributes include minimised gate charge, very low intrinsic capacitance, and very good manufacturing repeatability, ensuring consistent performance across industrial environments.

With a drain-source voltage of 500V and a continuous drain current of 7.2A, this component delivers reliable power handling. The TO-220FP through-hole case style ensures secure and straightforward mounting. Measuring 43 mm in height, 33 mm in width, and 15 mm in depth, and weighing just 3 grams, it provides compact and lightweight integration for your electronic designs.
