Harnessing the power of WiFi 6, this unit utilises 8 streams of data transmission combined with OFDMA technology. This delivers a 40% throughput increase on the 5GHz band and 100% on the 2.4GHz band, optimising efficiency for multiple simultaneous users. Advanced features like Basic Service Set (BSS) Colouring reduce radio interference, while Target Wake Time (TWT) and Beamforming+ extend coverage and improve battery life for connected devices.

For scalable deployments, the wireless backhaul feature allows you to create an instant mesh network with other compatible NETGEAR access points (WAC540, WAC564, WC564, or WAX620). It is powered via 802.3at PoE, making it ideal for installations where power sockets are unavailable, and includes a 2.5GbE Multi-Gigabit PoE LAN port with Auto MDI-X for high-speed wired connections.
