NXP Dual D-Type Flip-Flop in SOIC14 package. Features Schmitt-trigger clock input, buffered outputs, and 3V to 15V supply range.
The NXP Dual D-Type Flip-Flop is a reliable logic integrated circuit designed for industrial applications. It features independent set-direct input (SD), clear-direct input (CD), clock input (CP) and complementary outputs (Q, Q). Data is accepted when CP is LOW and is transferred to the output on the positive-going edge of the clock. The active high asynchronous CD and SD inputs are independent and override the D or CP inputs, ensuring flexible control.
The outputs are fully buffered to deliver the best system performance. Furthermore, the clock input incorporates Schmitt-trigger action, which makes the circuit highly tolerant of slower clock rise and fall times. It operates over a recommended VDD power supply range of 3V to 15V referenced to VSS (usually ground). Any unused inputs must be connected to VDD, VSS or another input to maintain stability.
This device supports fully static operation and provides standardized symmetrical output characteristics. It fully complies with the JEDEC standard JESD 13-B. Packaged in a compact SOIC14 format, this 14-pin device features a positive edge trigger type and delivers a propagation delay of 30ns at a maximum frequency of 40MHz. The component measures 43 mm in height, 33 mm in width, and 15 mm in depth, with a lightweight design of just 0.13 grams.
