This I/O expander offers a simple solution when additional I/O is needed for ACPI power switches, sensors, push buttons, LEDs, fans, and more. It features a polarity inversion register, an active LOW interrupt output, and low standby current for efficient operation. The device includes a noise filter on SCL/SDA inputs, ensuring clean communication, and is designed to avoid glitches on power-up with an internal power-on reset.
