The ONSEMI LDO Voltage Regulator is a low dropout positive fixed voltage regulator delivering a stable 5V output. Housed in a compact 3-pin SOT-23 package, this surface mount device offers a significant reduction in dropout voltage alongside enhanced output voltage accuracy and temperature stability when compared to older industry standard three-terminal adjustable regulators.
Designed for reliability, it operates with an input voltage of up to 18V and provides an output current in excess of 1A. The dropout voltage is typically 1.3V at 1A, with a maximum of 1.4V. It features excellent line regulation of 0.2% and load regulation of 50mV, ensuring consistent performance across varying conditions.
