ONSEMI BS270 N-Channel Power MOSFET, 60V, 400mA, TO-92. Ideal for servo motor control & gate drivers. Rugged, reliable switching.
The ONSEMI BS270 is an N-channel enhancement mode Field Effect Transistor produced using high cell density, DMOS technology. This very high-density process has been specifically designed to minimise on-state resistance while providing rugged, reliable, and fast switching performance. It is capable of being used in most applications requiring up to 500mA DC, making it a versatile component for various electronic circuits.
This power MOSFET is particularly suitable for low voltage and low current applications, such as small servo motor control, power MOSFET gate drivers, and other general switching applications. Operating as a voltage-controlled small signal switch, it offers high saturation current capability alongside its rugged and reliable construction.
Key Features
Housed in a standard TO-92 package with through-hole mounting, the BS270 is easy to integrate into prototyping and production PCBs. Measuring 43 mm in height, 33 mm in width, and 15 mm in depth, and weighing just 0.2 grams, it is highly compact. With a maximum operating temperature of 150°C and a power dissipation of 625mW, it is built to perform consistently in demanding environments.
