PCF Series Precision Thin Film Chip Resistor 2K Ohm 0.1% 0.1W 0805

The PCF series precision thin film nichrome chip resistor offers outstanding accuracy and stability for demanding applications. Manufactured using a high-quality thin-film material selectively deposited on a 96% alumina substrate, each resistor features metallic contacts at both ends. A precisely controlled laser trim process adjusts the resistance value to the exact specification, while heat treatment ensures the required temperature coefficient and long-term stability.

The resistor is protected with an epoxy coating and features wrap-around terminations plated with nickel and then tin. The standard termination is a 100% tin matte plated wrap-around, ideal for reflow or wave soldering to ceramic substrates or printed circuit boards. The passivated range provides superior humidity performance, making it suitable for a wide range of environments.
