The Pico Audio Pack is a high-quality audio add-on board for the Raspberry Pi Pico, providing stereo I2S audio output with both amplified headphone and unamplified line-level connections. It is fitted with pre-soldered female headers for direct attachment to a Pico that has male headers soldered (pins pointing down). The Raspberry Pi Pico itself is not included and is shown for illustration only.
At its core, the board utilises the PCM5100A DAC, supporting up to 32-bit stereo audio at 384kHz sampling rate, delivering crisp and detailed sound reproduction. It features a 3.5mm stereo headphone output and a separate stereo line-out port, offering flexible connectivity for various audio applications.
The headphone amp gain is adjustable via a simple switch, allowing you to select between low and high gain to match your headphones or listening preferences. The board is programmable using C/C++ (note: MicroPython is not currently supported), making it ideal for embedded audio projects such as music players, synthesizers, or interactive sound installations.
