The PILZ PNOZ X7 Safety Relay is specifically designed for monitoring emergency stop (E-STOP) pushbuttons, ensuring reliable safety in industrial environments. Compliant with EN 60204-1 and IEC 60204-1 standards, this relay is an essential component for safeguarding machinery and processes.

Equipped with positive-guided relay outputs, the unit features two instantaneous normally open (N/O) safety contacts. It offers versatile connection options for both E-STOP pushbuttons and reset buttons, streamlining installation. An integrated LED indicator provides clear visual feedback for switch status on channels 1 and 2, as well as the supply voltage, enabling quick diagnostics.

Performance and Specifications

The relay supports a wide range of supply voltages, including 24 VAC/DC, as well as 42 VAC, 48 VAC, 110 VAC, 115 VAC, 120 VAC, 230 VAC, and 240 VAC. It delivers a robust switching current of 56 A at 240 VAC, while maintaining a nominal contact current of 6 A. The unit is fitted with screw terminals for secure wiring and mounts conveniently onto a DIN rail.

Important Safety Warning

Please note that this safety relay is not suitable for noncontact barriers. A dynamic start is not possible, and the unit can be started during the delay-on de-energisation time, which must be considered during system design.
