Pimoroni OnOff SHIM Board for Raspberry Pi

The Pimoroni OnOff SHIM Board is a power switch board for Raspberry Pi that supports power supplies of up to 2.5A. By connecting a power supply to the SHIM's micro-USB port, you can power, boot, and safely shut down your Raspberry Pi with a single button press, removing the need to physically connect and disconnect the power cable.

Overview

This compact, slim-profile board is designed for unobtrusive mounting. It solders directly onto the GPIO pins of your Raspberry Pi, and its low-profile design means it can be used alongside other HATs and pHATs. A dedicated software daemon performs a clean, software-controlled shutdown when the button is pressed, which helps protect your SD card and data from corruption.

Compatibility and Installation
