This 0.15mm diameter wire, coated in a self-fluxing polyurethane jacket, conforms to BS4520 Grade 2 (incorporated within BS6811 Section 1, Pt. 3), ensuring reliability and performance.
With a rated voltage of 1500V, this wire is perfect for prototype wiring, PCB track repair, shorting links, and coil forming. The self-fluxing polyurethane coating eliminates the need for additional flux, making soldering more efficient. However, it requires a soldering temperature of 400°C to 480°C to remove the enamel effectively.
