The PRO POWER Photovoltaic Solar Cable PV1-F is a 100m roll of high-quality solar cable designed for the safe and efficient interconnection of photovoltaic systems, such as solar panel arrays. This cable features a class 5 flexible tinned copper conductor manufactured to DIN VDE 0295 and BS EN/IEC 60228 standards, ensuring excellent conductivity and flexibility for easy installation.

The cable is insulated with a halogen-free cross-linked compound and sheathed with a halogen-free, flame retardant compound type EM4 to BS EN 50363-2-1. This construction provides robust protection against environmental factors, making it suitable for both internal and external fixed installations within conduit or cable management systems. It is also ozone-resistant to BS EN 50396, UV-resistant to HD 605/A1, and tested for durability to EN 60216, guaranteeing a long service life of at least 25 years.

Safety and Performance

Designed with fire safety in mind, this cable utilises a flame retardant, halogen-free system with low smoke properties (CPR classification Eca), minimising toxic emissions in the event of a fire. The conductor has a maximum resistance of 5.09Ω/km at 20°C and is rated for a voltage of 1.8kV and a maximum operating temperature of 90°C. The conductor area is 4mm², making it ideal for standard solar panel connections.

With a black LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) jacket, this cable is durable, safe, and ready for a variety of alternative energy projects. Please note: This cable is not suitable for direct burial applications.
