Noryl, a modified polyphenylene ether (MPPE) thermoplastic, offers significant advantages: it is inherently lighter and tougher, and provides enhanced flame resistance compared to PVC. This results in UL AWM (Appliance Wiring Material) wires with a smaller overall diameter than their PVC-based counterparts, allowing for easier routing and installation in tight spaces.

Key Environmental & Safety Features

The non-halogenated insulation contains no heavy metal pigments, helping manufacturers comply with Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) directives. The cable is rated for a wide operating temperature range from -40°C to 105°C, ensuring reliable performance in extreme conditions. It also boasts excellent abrasion resistance and is oil resistant to Oil Res. 1 standards.
