The Proto-Advantage 6-Pin SMD to SIP Adaptor provides a reliable solution for prototyping with small surface mount components. Designed to accommodate chip sizes 0402, 0603, 0805, 1206, and 1210, this single-in-line package carrier allows you to easily convert surface mount devices into a through-hole format, simplifying breadboarding and testing workflows.
Constructed from FR-4 UL94V-0 PCB material, the adaptor features precisely sized pads (2x3mm) with an air gap of 0.81mm vertically and 0.54mm horizontally. It includes a through-hole male right angle header with 6 pins on a 0.1-inch pitch, offering versatile mounting options for your circuit boards.
Please note that the adaptor is supplied unassembled and requires soldering for completion, giving you full control over the assembly process. With compact dimensions of 43mm in height, 33mm in width, and 15mm in depth, and a lightweight profile of just 10 grams, it integrates seamlessly into your prototyping setup without adding unnecessary bulk.
