The PROWAVE Piezo Film Sensor utilises advanced piezoelectric polymer film technology, delivering outstanding performance for a wide range of sensing applications. Constructed from polyvinylidene fluoride (PVF2), this sensor exhibits a highly pronounced piezoelectric effect and offers significantly greater compliance compared to traditional piezoelectric crystals or ceramic materials.

Thanks to its superior piezoelectric strain constant (g value), which is 10 to 20 times larger than that of standard piezoelectric ceramics, the sensor serves as an ideal material for converting mechanical energy into electrical energy. It features high mechano-electrical efficiency across planar, thickness, and hydrostatic modes, ensuring versatile and reliable operation.
