The PTA230/30 is a Reed Proximity Switch designed for reliable position and limit sensing in a variety of industrial and security applications. Housed in a nickel-plated brass case, this cylindrical sensor features a normally open (Form-A) contact and is built for durability and long service life.

With an M12 thread diameter and a sensing distance of up to 8mm, this switch delivers precise detection for position monitoring, linear actuator control, and door switch functions. The sensor offers a maximum contact resistance of 80mΩ and supports a supply current of 3A, making it suitable for straightforward integration into control circuits.
