SB Components Pico Real Time Clock (RTC) HAT

Based around the DS3231 IC, the SB Components Pico Real Time Clock (RTC) HAT is a dedicated timekeeping module designed specifically for the Raspberry Pi Pico. This HAT provides precise timekeeping, counting seconds, minutes, hours, day, date, month, and year with automatic leap year compensation valid until the year 2100.

Featuring a high-speed I2C interface (400kHz), the module ensures fast and reliable communication with your Pico board. It includes two time-of-day alarms and a programmable square-wave output, offering versatile functionality for various timing applications. The integrated CR1220 backup battery holder ensures continuous operation even when the main power is disconnected (please note, the battery is not included).

Operating at 3.3V with low power consumption, this RTC HAT is fitted with standard Pico headers for straightforward attachment. For direct connection, the Raspberry Pi Pico requires male headers soldered to it with the pins pointing down. Please note that the Raspberry Pi Pico is shown for illustration purposes only and is not included. The kit contains the RTC board only.
