The SEEED STUDIO LiPo Rider Plus is a versatile fast charger and power boost module, designed to efficiently manage and deliver power for a wide range of electronic projects. It supports a robust charging current of up to 5V/2A via its USB Type-C port, enabling rapid replenishment of connected Lithium Polymer (LiPo) batteries.

Its integrated boost converter provides a powerful output of up to 5V/2.4A through a USB Type-A port, perfect for powering devices like smartphones, Raspberry Pi units, or sensors. A key feature is the additional, always-on 3.3V/250mA output available via a pin header, which can continuously supply power to a microcontroller or low-power circuits.

Advanced Programmable Control

This module offers sophisticated control over its main 5V output. It supports shutdown via IO control or a manual switch, allowing a connected microcontroller to programmatically enable or disable the 5V power rail. This creates an efficient, programmable power management system where the 3.3V rail can power the controller, which in turn governs the 5V output.

Clear Visual Feedback

User feedback is provided through two onboard LED indicators. A charge status LED clearly shows the battery charging state, while a 4-segment power indicator LED gives a visual representation of the connected battery's charge level, helping you monitor power at a glance.
