Sikaflex 292i High Strength Marine Adhesive, White, 300ml

Sikaflex®-292i is a premium, high-strength, one-component polyurethane adhesive specifically formulated for demanding marine environments. It offers a non-sag, thixotropic paste-like consistency that cures upon exposure to atmospheric moisture, providing excellent gap-filling properties and forming a durable, flexible seal. This adhesive exhibits outstanding mechanical strength and adhesive properties, making it ideal for structural joints in marine constructions subjected to high dynamic stresses.

A key feature is its compliance with the low spread of flame requirements set by the International Maritime Organisation (IMO), ensuring enhanced safety on board. It is also Wheelmark approved, signifying its quality and suitability for marine use. The adhesive bonds effectively to a wide variety of substrates, including metals (particularly aluminium, even with anodised finishes), metal primers, paint coatings, ceramics, and plastics such as GRP and ABS.

Sikaflex®-292i is solvent-free and has very low VOC content, contributing to a safer working environment. Once cured, the adhesive can be painted over, allowing for a seamless finish. It is supplied in a convenient 300ml cartridge for easy application using a standard caulking gun.
