SLEEVE IT Fireproof Sleeving - 12mm

The SLEEVE IT Fireproof Sleeving is a premium protective solution manufactured from high-quality 'E' glass fibre yarn, knitted to form a durable sleeve and coated with a high-grade silicone elastomer rubber. This exceptionally flexible sleeving is expertly designed to safeguard wires, cables, and hoses from high ambient temperatures, ensuring reliable performance in demanding environments.

Offering continuous protection at an operating temperature of 260°C, this fireproof sleeving can also withstand a molten metal splash at an impressive 1,200°C. When exposed to a direct flame, the high-grade rubber coating reacts to form a protective SiO2 layer, adding an extra level of safety and insulation.

Beyond thermal protection, the sleeving is highly resistant to most oils, hydraulic fluids, fuels, acids, and alkalis, making it suitable for harsh industrial and automotive applications. It provides essential personnel protection against burns from hot hoses and steam lines, while also helping to reduce energy loss by effectively retaining heat within pipework.
