SPARKFUN 6A DC/DC Converter Breakout Board, 4.5-14V Input
Versatile 4.5-14V to 0.59-5.5V DC/DC converter breakout board with 6A output, ideal for electronics projects & prototyping.
The SPARKFUN 6A DC/DC Converter Breakout Board is a compact solution for converting DC voltages, ideal for prototyping and electronics projects. This non-isolated converter efficiently transforms any input voltage between 4.5V and 14V DC to an adjustable output range of 0.59V to 5.5V DC, providing versatility for various applications.
Key Features
- Adjustable Output: Set your desired voltage by adding a resistor between the Trim and GND pins (refer to the datasheet for specifics).
- ON/OFF Control: The ON/OFF pin allows you to easily toggle the converter between active and standby modes by pulling it high or low.
- Robust Performance: With a maximum output current of 6A, low output ripple, and minimal noise, this board ensures stable power delivery.
- Durable Design: Operates reliably across a -40°C to 85°C temperature range, making it suitable for demanding environments.
- Easy Integration: The converter module pins are conveniently broken out to 0.1-inch headers, simplifying connections to your circuits.
- Ready to Use: The board comes fully assembled, requiring no additional setup beyond voltage adjustment.
This breakout board is a powerful and flexible component for power management in DIY electronics, robotics, and embedded systems.
