SPARKFUN QwiicBus I2C MidPoint - Ethernet Range Extender

The SPARKFUN QwiicBus I2C MidPoint is a simple yet effective solution for extending the range of your I2C bus for microcontrollers using standard Ethernet cables. This MidPoint device is designed to be placed between EndPoints to further extend I2C range or to add additional devices to your system.

Key features include the PCA9615 buffer IC, which converts I2C signals into four differential signals (2x SCL, 2x SDA) for simplified signal management. The device also incorporates an LMR33630 buck regulator, capable of delivering up to 3A at 3.3V to power connected devices, making it ideal for more demanding applications.

Built around the Qwiic system, this MidPoint offers easy prototyping with 2x Qwiic connectors and optional 0.1-inch pins for breadboard compatibility. Its wide input voltage range supports flexible integration into various projects, whether you're working with 2.3-5.5V I2C or 3-36V power supplies.
