This monolithic control circuit delivers the main functions for DC-to-DC voltage conversion. The device contains an internal temperature compensated reference, a comparator, and a duty cycle controlled oscillator with an active current limit circuit, a driver, and a high current output switch.
The output voltage is adjustable through two external resistors, providing a precise 2% reference accuracy. Employing a minimum number of external components, this device is specifically designed for step-down, step-up, and voltage-inverting applications, making it highly versatile for various power management needs.
