The STMicroelectronics L298N Dual Full-Bridge Driver is an integrated monolithic circuit designed to accept standard TTL logic levels and drive inductive loads. This high-voltage, high-current driver is engineered to control relays, solenoids, DC motors, and stepping motors effectively.
Featuring two enable inputs, the device can be enabled or disabled independently of the input signals. The emitters of the lower transistors of each bridge are connected together, and the corresponding external terminal can be used for the connection of an external sensing resistor. Additionally, an extra supply input is provided so that the logic operates at a lower voltage.
