The TAOGLAS SMA Jack to Bare End Lead (CAB.058) is a 0.047" semi-rigid coax pigtail specifically designed for RF circuit debugging and design verification. Measuring 50mm in length, this 50-ohm transmission line allows you to seamlessly connect user test equipment directly to your printed circuit board with absolute ease.
It features an SMA female jack straight connector on one end and a strip/tin 3/3mm bare end on the other. The bare end comes pre-stripped and tinned, exposing a short length of the inner conductor to save you valuable time and effort during installation. The SMA female connector acts as the proper mate for most coax cables used in design labs, effectively eliminating the need for additional adapters.
Semi-rigid coax offers the best attenuation of all micro-coax types. To ensure a proper connection without causing an impedance mismatch, the cable jacket needs to be soldered to the PCB ground, and the inner conductor gets soldered to the RF transmission line.
With a maximum operating frequency of 20GHz and an operating temperature range from -50°C to +100°C, this lead is built for demanding environments and high-performance applications.
