These varistors operate across a wide voltage range from 11VRMS to 1100VRMS, making them highly versatile for various electronic applications. They function as control or compensation elements, ensuring optimal operating conditions or safeguarding circuits against excessive transient voltages.
With voltage-dependent characteristics, these varistors provide robust protection against high transient voltage spikes. They boast high surge current ratings of up to 8kA and a peak energy range spanning from 0.3J to 410J. This specific model offers a voltage rating of 30V AC (38V DC) with a maximum clamping voltage of 93V, a peak surge current of 1kA at 8/20µs, and a peak energy of 9.0J.
Built for reliability, the varistor features an endurance of 1000 hours at 85°C and an operating temperature range from -40°C to 85°C. It is UL94V-0 rated for flame retardancy and coated with epoxy resin for enhanced durability. The component meets rigorous industry standards, holding approvals from UL, CSA, VDE, CQC, and IEC. Varistor voltage tolerance is available at ±10% and ±5%.
