Operating across a wide voltage range, these varistors act as control or compensation elements to ensure optimal operating conditions or to safeguard against excessive transient voltages. Their voltage-dependent characteristics make them highly effective at protecting sensitive circuitry from high transient voltage spikes.
This specific varistor offers a voltage rating of 25V AC (31V DC) with a maximum clamping voltage of 77V. It provides robust protection with a peak surge current rating of up to 2kA (at 8/20µs) and a peak energy capacity of 22J (at 10/1000µs).
