The TDK NTC Thermistor offers high measuring accuracy and a fast response time, making it a reliable choice for precise temperature sensing. Encapsulated in durable epoxy resin, this 2-pin through hole mounting thermistor features PTFE-insulated leads made of silver-plated nickel wire (30AWG) with bendable wires for versatile installation.
Installation and Handling
Care must be taken during installation to ensure longevity. Leads may be bent at a minimum distance of twice the wire's diameter plus 4mm from the component head, with a bending radius of at least 0.75mm. Twisting a bent lead by 180° is permissible at 6mm from the thermistor body, provided the wire is mechanically relieved at the housing. When soldering, use resin-type or non-activated flux, as insufficient preheating may cause ceramic cracks. Avoid contaminating the thermistor surface during handling and do not touch components with bare hands. Store away from heat or direct sunlight.
